So this month i have been super busy working at Aruna Seth, London based shoe designer most popular with the Royal family. This was my first in-house internship, and a huge learning curve giving my the opportunity to work on every department learning each role and what it does for the company.

Sales- Gives you an idea of how to generate customer satisfaction over a wide spread but also financial targets and comparisons which shows the most popular seasons.

Buying- I spent many afternoons contacting New York buyers promoting the brand in order to arrange viewing appointment's and seeing what is on the market over there at the moment.

Graphic Design- This is one section i never in my life thought i would be working on, but surprisingly i really enjoyed it. It was mainly the back of website stuff but it was good seeing how a website works and comes together.

Clientele- I like a good challenge and this was definitely one. Giving the best customer service you can give, doing your best to make every client happy. The most important thing is remembering that client in order to develop a relationship with them it is hard, but always rewarding when they give you a personal thank you in the end.

PR- My fortey, but when working in-house it feels minimal as you only have one client to look out for coverage for but most of the time you get contacted to say you will appear in whatever publication. Then the daily tasks of dealing with sample requests and finding out what Stylists are working on. the only difference at Aruna Seth is that coverage was worldwide.

Social Media- A hotspot every company is loving at the moment. Its not that easy always having content especially when you need to keep consistent with it but i soon learnt.
