GRADUATE FASHION WEEK

On Monday 5th may I attended Graduate Fashion Week in a a way that I never thought I would attended: backstage as a model. Being asked to model is definitely a flattering experience. Glamorous? Hmm let me explain.

Morning 6am
So Firstly that morning was hell I woke up late rushing around trying to get ready the hot water conked out and landed me in Antarctica then I get a massive cut up my leg shaving GREAT my hair is knotty and just won't go right. But thank god I arrive on time. Backstage dressers and designers are flurrying around me, it is manic. Then the glamorous bit I had the smell of sweat in every area. My make up got changed so many times as the designer wasn't happy, my hair got nicely tugged and then finally I see some flawless results.

Midday
I had to try on my outfits which was so annoying with make up on with a white dress, one was so big it was like a big parachute unflattering. The dress rehearsals went well, after the 5th time. I was also shivering for the entire day. And the only refreshments going was water and crisps so I was definitely hungry and needy for warmth.

The show
So after all that the turn out of the audience was amazing and a brilliant show came out of it and the designers were definitely happy with outcome it was nice to see all that hard work pay off.

If I haven't put you off and you would like to get involved in modelling please feel free to contact me.
